Bitbucket Support: Source Control, Expanded
What it means for you:
If your team uses Bitbucket for source control, BluBees now supports it as a fully connected application — giving you the same integration and orchestration capabilities previously only available to GitLab users. Branch creation, file operations, and pipeline-triggered flows are all supported, directly from within Jira.

WORKFLOW IMPROVEMENT
Auto-Inherit Node Configuration: No More Redundant Setup
What it means for you:
When a node acts as both a target and a source in a multi-step flow, its configuration — authentication, endpoints, and metadata scopes — now automatically carries forward to the next node. Previously this required manual re-entry at every step, creating both friction and a source of configuration errors in complex integration chains.

SECURITY
Backend Security Update: Dependencies Patched
What it means for you:
Multiple security vulnerabilities have been resolved across BluBees' backend services — the API, Tenant Management Console, Scheduler, and Automation modules. All affected third-party libraries have been upgraded to their patched versions. No customer action is required. The platform is more secure today than it was yesterday.

Step Execution Status: See Every Step As It Runs
What it means for you:
Until now, you had to open logs to understand what happened during a Flow run. Step Execution Status brings that visibility directly onto the canvas, each node shows its current state in real time, so you can see at a glance what's running, what succeeded, and what failed.

NEW CAPABILITY
Flow Variables: Store and Reuse Values Across Your Flow
What it means for you:
Flow Variables let you capture a field value at any point in your Flow and reference it anywhere else in the same Flow, without duplicating logic or rebuilding mappings. Define, save, edit, and delete variables from a dedicated dialog launched directly from the flow canvas.
What's included:

Insert flow variables into field mappings on either side of any mapping

Variables are scoped to the entire flow, available across every step

Variable names must be unique (case-insensitive matching)
NEW CAPABILITY
Array Splitter: Process List Data Item by Item
What it means for you:
When a Flow receives a list of records, orders, tickets, test results, contacts, the Array Splitter lets you process each item individually rather than treating the whole list as a single payload. Route each item through its own logic, then trigger a completion step once every item has been handled.
What's included:

Point at any array field via a simple field picker or JSONPath

Sync mode — process items in order, one at a time

Async mode — process all items in parallel for faster execution

"Continue on error" option — one failed item skips rather than stopping the entire batch
WORKFLOW CONTROL
Response Processing for OnResponse Steps: Sync or Async
What it means for you:
You now have explicit control over how each step in your Flow handles incoming responses. Choose Async to let the Flow continue immediately while a step processes its response in the background — or choose Sync to make the Flow wait until that step has fully completed before moving on.
When to use each:

Async (default): more scalable, production-safe; use for most steps

Sync: use deliberately, only where step order and completion must be guaranteed
PERFORMANCE
Forge Runtime Upgrade: Node.js 24
What it means for you:
The Forge runtime has been upgraded from Node.js 22 to Node.js 24, bringing the latest performance improvements and long-term support. No action needed — your Flows benefit automatically.
BUG FIXES

Visual Conditional Builder: fixed an issue where a saved SpEL expression did not render correctly in the builder
